Familiarizes those who have recently joined Friendship
Community Church with its mission and to share basic Christian doctrine. The five
sessions include: Bible Basics; How to Stay on the Christian Walk; Identifying Your Gifts; the Meaning of Church Membership and Meet the Pastor.
Recommends members to serve in leadership positions to the Church Council, then those persons are presented to the church for positions of leadership.

Assists the church office in ensuring that all communication regarding church activities and functions are clear to external and internal audiences. The ministry also builds awareness through media outlets such as church and public service announcements, ads, print publications, the church website, email, radio, broadcasts and
Sets criteria, reviews applications and awards scholarships to graduating,
college-bound, high school students. The scholarships can be applied to tuition, room, board and/or book fees.
Ensures the safety of people and church property from any type of damage. The
ministry is also responsible for opening and closing church rooms and buildings, as well as patrolling and monitoring church property and activities.
Recommends, supports and enhances the church’s use of technology.
Provides transportation for the ministries of Friendship.
Responsible for the acquisition and upkeep of church property.
Assists in seating congregation in worship, special needs and other activities during worship services. Also available in emergency situations.
